SIO started life in 2003 as Studio Iorio, founded by Erica Lombardo and Francesco Iorio, with the idea of combining academic knowledge and engineering experiences. Over the years the Studio has evolved and grown, becoming SIO s.r.l. in 2016 following an important move to works an international imprint. Under the direction of Francesco Iorio and the collaboration of a team experts, has allowed SIO to distinguish itself, for its capacity to manage complex high profiles projects, both in Italy and abroad.
The growth of the Studio has been distinguished (marked) by an innovatory approach to structural design, earning a reputation for realizing complete solutions which marry aesthetics, functionality and sustainability.
