Designed by Studio Asti Architetti, The Hug consists of three buildings overlooking a private inner courtyard beneath which are two underground floors. The project consists of 123 flats arranged on 7/8 floors above ground, leaving the amenities serving the apartments and service rooms on the ground floor.

The elevations are characterised by balconies protected by vertical wood-effect aluminium sunshades that mark both the internal fronts and the main front on Via Piranesi. Stringcourses support the louvres and visually accompany the design of the façade.
